This is the second year I've photographed the arts advocate and student awards for Marquis Studios, a nonprofit providing arts education services to more than 130 New York City public schools. The work they do is so important. It's an honor to work with them!
The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York (LeGaL) held their 2016 Annual Dinner and Community Vision Awards at Capitale. This is one of the largest annual events for LGBT legal professionals and allies. This year, awards were presented to to Kevin Cathcart of Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund and Chai Feldblum of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. There was also a special posthumous tribute to New York State Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye by her former law clerk, Roberta Kaplan.

North Shore Animal League America is the world's largest no kill animal rescue and adoption organization. The Empire State Building was lit in their colors to promote the kick off of their Tour For Life which is the world’s largest cooperative mobile adoption event that will span 53 cities in 32 states, covering 26,000 miles and saving the lives of countless animals.
It was thrilling to capture this special occasion for such an important event!
I recently spent a morning with the team at Marquis Studios shooting A Year in Pictures, an exhibit promoting art by and for people with disabilities. A big thank you to Cameron Event Design for bringing me on board!
